Concrete Slab
As well as block paving, there are a large selection of concrete paving slabs available on the market in various sizes and colours.
They’re a very cost effective material to use and because they are calibrated in size they are much easier and quicker to install than a natural product or Porcelain.

When you need a versatile surface for any outdoor space, natural sandstone is hard to beat. Whether it be contemporary or traditional designs; this material will work well in both settings!
Porcelain
Porcelain is more than just a stone, it’s an experience. The natural collection offers porcelains with various finishes that will suit any interior design trend while still maintaining their high-end nature and sophistication
Mentioning “natural” in the title doesn’t make this anything less luxurious or informal – on contrary!
Porcelain is a great material for paving because it has an extremely durable and strong finish. The stones are far more dense than natural stone, which means you’ll get less cracks or gaps in your walkway over time!

Measurements, design and planning
We’ll start off by visiting your property to introduce ourselves and give you any advice we can.
In order to provide you with a custom design, we will take all the measurements and images of your install area so that our team can create an accurate computer generated mock-up just for YOU. We aim this service at giving customers total peace of mind knowing what the final layout design will look like.
Install
Once our quotation has been approved and we have scheduled your job in, we will start the installation process.
We will start by excavating your existing drive.
We use diggers and trucks to remove all the debris from your driveway and environmentally dispose of it. This process usually takes place within one day, so you will have minimum mess.
We will install a geotextile membrane to cover the total area you want for your driveway. The purpose is that this helps prevent mixing between different types or soils, like clay and hardcore concrete; but still allows water to flow freely through it!
The base of your new driveway will be a solid 150 mm deep at this stage. This is followed by laying down an additional layer on top, which includes the type 1 hard surface and compacting it many times in different directions to give you a good solid base.
Edging restraints (usually blocks) are then installed to contain the block paving or resin installation.
Drainage will need installing and once complete the driveway area will be covered with course grit sand, compacted and screeded.
Once the area has been prepared, blocks are laid and sand lightly brushed until all joints hold an even amount. Next they’re compacted once again and your driveway is ready for use.
Finish
You can rest easy knowing that your driveway will be left in perfect condition. We take care of all the waste materials, and you’ll receive an invoice with final payment due upon completion!
